PARENT COACHING SERVICES

The adventure starts here! The Hello Session is your time to interview me to see if I'm a good fit for your needs. On my end, I'll want to hear a little bit about your household. Who are the key players? What are you struggling with as a parent? What would you like to accomplish in our work together? What else would you like me to know?

If you are looking for nanny services, please use the contact form instead.

Whether you're a parent or caregiver who's learning about HAES or a full-on HAES pro, I'd love to support you. (And yes, you can refer your clients who are parents to me!)

I offer parenting support around:

  • Social-emotional development

  • Caregivers' role in play

  • Managing "stuff" (toys, cups, kid potties, etc.)

  • Routines and transitions

  • Parent Shame

  • How to "Even"

It's really touching my heart to be out here helping parents tap into an awareness of what good care is so they can feel secure that they're offering it.
For your work with me, that might look like weekly or bi-weekly meetings where we work through your parenting questions, talk about immediate issues, and I offer you new tools and perspectives.

Positive Discipline is a parenting philosophy based on encouragement, empowerment, and mutual respect. In this 6-week series, we'll follow along with the structure of the book Positive Discipline by Dr. Jane Nelsen. I'll facilitate discussions and role play activities to allow you to experience the effectiveness of the tools offered before you bring them into your relationship with your child.

I've asked parents in Health at Every Size communities what would be helpful for me to offer as a Parent Educator. A relatively common complaint is that it's hard to find HAES-aligned childcare.

Childcare is hard to access in general! Parents are left feeling like they're swimming upstream when advocating for things like size diversity acceptance, respectful mealtimes, and joyful (non-prescriptive) movement.
